In loving memory

Sheryl Sirisky Prisby

January 11, 1962 - August 16, 2014

I will miss all that she had to share ~ she loved life...

Sheryl Ann Sirisky Prisby, 52, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014. She was a resident of Bluffton, South Carolina at the time of her passing. She was the daughter of the late Jack Bernard Sirisky and the late Frankie Oliver Noble Daly. Sheryl grew up in Summerville, graduated from Summerville High School in 1980 and also attended James Island High School. She is a dental graduate of Medical University of South Carolina and a graduate of Charleston Cosmetology Institute.

Sheryl loved Charleston's coastal waters, kayaking, collecting shells, walks on the beach, and jumping "bootie" waves in the Atlantic Ocean. Sheryl's happiest place was Bull's Island. Her compassion and generous heart were not only shown to her family and friends, but also by her adoption of Golden Retrievers. She has loved six Golden Retriever daughters in her lifetime, and has even enjoyed taking them paddle boarding with her.

Sheryl was preceded in death by both of her parents and her grandparents, Lawrence M. Sirisky and Laura Bourinich Sirisky. Sheryl is survived by her husband of 26 years, Matt Prisby. Matt has been her rock and her port in the storm. Sheryl is also survived by her first cousins, Trish Feran Schwabe and Sandy Feran Knapp, as well as many second cousins and friends who adore her and will deeply miss her and her charismatic personality.

Sheryl she's a silver sun,
you best walk her way and watch it shinin'-
watch her watch the mornin' come...
a silver tear appearing now I'm cryin', ain't I...
I'm goin' to Carolina in my mind
