Carved basswood, leather, string, straight pins, fabric, and Sculpey clay. Painted with acrylics, primarily by flicking paint off a toothbrush.
Measuring only 13.5 inches tall to the top of the mast, my miniature arks took nearly a month to complete. The trick in the design was to position each animal so that its eyes and/or face would be visible in the final photo. This was the last ark I created.
